This project included the new construction of a two story, 26,000 square foot ambulatory surgery center and medical office space for Balcones Pain Consultants. The facility includes fourteen exam rooms, a flouroscopy suite, a laboratory, and pharmacy. Within the surgery center, three operating rooms comprise the rear of the suite, with four pre-op beds and five PACU beds in the center of the space. A spacious waiting room and radius stairway make up the entrance and reception area.

The site, exterior and core of the building were designed by Euwer & Associates, while the interiors were designed by Polkinghorn Group Architects. The success of the project was in large part determined by everyone’s ability to communicate and work with each other to make sure that there were no gaps or overlaps in scope.
