1519 Cesar Chavez - Sabre Offices
Location: Austin, Texas
This project is home to Sabre Commercial. The building was purchased in late 2009 and renovated in the summer of 2010. The project entailed completely renovating the building from a parts supply warehouse and machine shop to an energy efficient office and retail building. Construction included a complete demolition of the existing space with new electrical and plumbing as well as a highly energy efficient offices slated to be a LEED Silver project. The exterior saw minor remodeling as we tried to keep the original feel of the building. We installed a new energy efficient roof, complete electrical service, cut-in windows as well as a new water line that had to be brought across Comal to tie into an existing line. View details.

The new ArthroCare Austin Headquarters is the renovation of two buildings equaling 126,000 sf completed in three phases and in less than seventeen weeks. This included the first phase of 36k sf from demo to move-in of only six weeks. Pet Relocation

The 10,000 SF renovation included a large “open office” concept with 24 individual workstations. The main entry to the building off of 7th street was remodeled and a new Reception area was created. A new staff lounge, a recreational area, an arcade with vintage arcade games, a mail room, and a large conference room were also a part of the build out. The existing restrooms were brought into compliance with the latest accessibility standards. A parapet wall was added around the building to make the architectural lines blend with the adjacent Driskill Hotel. The parapet wall will also give Pet Relocation the opportunity to have a future roof deck for employees. The existing roof was completely torn off and replaced with a new TPO roof. The building HVAC and electrical systems were replaced as well. View details.

UMCB Clinical Education Center Physicians Offices

The renovation included converting patient rooms into private and semi-private offices for campus physicians and their support staff. A large, state of the art, 50 person conference room and training center was created by hollowing out the support areas of the old bed unit. New handicap accessible restrooms, a new staff lounge, and two smaller conference rooms were also included in the scope of the renovation. View details.

Veteran's Affairs - Interior - Phase I
Location: Austin, TX
The first phase of this project includes the full interior finish-out of 73,000 s.f. for the Veteran's Affair's Administration. The project is a Gold LEED certified project. The interior finish out includes raised flooring throughout with 12' ceiling heights, cafeteria, training rooms and a large data center. High security elements were also addes to the project space including cameras, security glass, security fencing and a guard station. The reception area includes terrazzo flooring with 22' ceilings. Most of the interior walls were built using the modular DIRTT wall system. This is one of the largest DIRTT wall projects in Central Texas. The building uses primary power from two substations located on the MetCenter property thus eliminating the need for a generator. Redundant data fiber was also brought into the building. All HVAC, power and data is run under the raised flooring with Sabre coordinating the funiture installation as well. Phase II and II are already in the planning stages which will include additional parking and another 75,000 square feet. View details.
