This project consisted of a comprehensive renovation and expansion of the existing showroom facility, transforming both the customer-facing showroom and portions of the warehouse into a modern, functional and engaging environment.
The work began with the complete demolition of the existing showroom, followed by a full interior build-back that included new wall partitions, upgraded mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC improvements, new finishes, painting and polishing of the existing concrete floors. A key feature of the renovation was the addition of a state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen demonstration area, complete with operable roll-up doors that seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor spaces to enhance the customer experience and product demonstrations.
In addition to the showroom improvements, a portion of the existing warehouse was enclosed and converted into new office and conference room space, creating a more efficient and collaborative work environment for staff. Exterior improvements were also completed to enhance the overall appearance, accessibility and functionality of the property.
The final result is a fully transformed showroom and workplace that provides an elevated customer experience while supporting the client’s operational needs and future growth.
The difference between the original contract value and final contract value was primarily attributable to owner-directed scope additions that were incorporated after contract execution. Due to schedule constraints and the need to mobilize quickly to maintain the project timeline, the exterior improvements and the Sub-Zero & Wolf live kitchen demonstration areas were added after the contract was signed and subsequently incorporated into the project through change orders.
