Matthew Lutz

Chief Executive Officer

As a native Austinite and a longhorn, it was only natural that Matthew Lutz would become a founding partner of Sabre Commercial, a firm proudly associated with some of the best construction projects in Austin. Prior to founding Sabre in 2008, he was active in commercial real estate as an investor, broker and developer. He has since found his niche with Sabre Commercial. His background as a development investor has given him a unique approach to construction allowing him to see the project from both sides of the aisle. Matt has broad oversight of all company operations and resources and makes major corporate decisions.

An advocate for helping others, Matt is the Director of Development for Crossroads Scholars Program, which helps support first-generation college attendees.

Matt enjoys soaking up all Austin has to offer, but also enjoy traveling when the time permits. He is an avid outdoorsman who can often be found bird hunting, fishing, or water skiing.

Todd Reimers

Chief Operations Officer

Although he earned both a BBA and a law degree at Baylor University, it wasn’t long before Todd decided to pursue a career in the construction industry. That unique educational background makes him especially suited to act as liaison between owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors in order to deliver projects smoothly and on time. He is known for his calm approach to solving problems and has a track record that demonstrates self-motivation, creativity, and initiative to achieve client goals. Todd will leverage his leadership skills, CM expertise and deep roots in Central Texas to expand business opportunities for the company.

Todd is highly involved with the Austin community serving on the Boy Scouts Capitol Area Council Vice President Properties Committee and ULI Chair of Small Scale Development Local Member Concil. He is also a part of the West Austin Youth Association and Real Estate Council of Austin.

In his spare time, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, exercising, and hunting.

Evan Spaulding

Chief Financial Officer

The team at Sabre Commercial was proud but not surprised when the Austin Business Journal nominated their own Evan Spaulding in the 2015 and 2016 Best CFOs category. With over fifteen years of experience as a financial executive, management consultant, and business owner, he has developed a hands-on, collaborative, servant leadership style. Although his career began as a CPA, with both a BBA and MPA from the University of Texas, he enhanced his skills as a CFO with an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the innovative and prestigious Acton School of Business. Evan thrives in the growth phase of a business, and he enjoys coaching his teammates toward mastering their roles while creating an exceptional experience for their customers.

Evan, in addition to being a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas, serves as the 2020 Secretary and Treasurer for the Executive Board of Directors and the Chair of Finance and Operations Committee. Evan was a “Big Brother” mentor through the program for 7 years.

On a personal note, Evan enjoys spending time writing and listening to music, reading, working out, being outdoors, and cheering for the Texas Longhorns.
