The Urology Austin 2nd floor project was an office space that we renovated into the medical hub for all Urology Austin providers. The renovated space includes 70 exam and procedure rooms, 22 added restrooms and offices to accommodate managerial staff. We overcame a variety of challenges, such as arranging plumbing rough with the occupied office spaces located below the suite, adding modern finishes, such as floor to ceiling glass for the check-in / check-out space and implementing a pneumatic tube to send samples to the onsite laboratory. The space allows providers to perform procedures while simultaneously providing day-to-day care for patients.
